Led by Jennifer Farmer
£20 (£15)

A follow-on to the workshop in February, Handle With Care II will focus specifically on the challenges of creating a dramatic piece from the stories and experiences of vulnerable groups. The session will offer practical ways in which to address some of the questions that writers face when creating such work; whose story is being told and why; is it being truthful; how to artistically engage with personal material; how to write for vulnerable groups AND theatre audiences.

Playwright Jennifer Farmer has written for and with women in prison, children at risk and refugee groups. Her acclaimed play, COMPACT FAILURE, was written as part of a residency at HMP Send for Clean Break.
