

2006:
Oladipo Agboluaje
Dipo is currently the Pearson Playright in Residence at Soho Theatre where his most recent play The Christ of Coldharbour Lane was produced in June 2007. Tiata Fahodzi presented The Estate in association with Soho Theatre in June 2006. He was Writer in Residence at New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich and was commissioned by Pursued By A Bear to write For One Night Only, which toured in 2005. In 2004 his West African adaptation of Mother Courage and Her Children was produced by Nottingham Playhouse and was followed by a national tour. The Trials of Brother Jero, adapted from Wole Soyinka’s play was presented on BBC World Service.
Matt Charman
Matt was the Winner of the 2004 Verity Bargate Award for his first play A Night of the Dogs, which premiered at Soho Theatre in April 2005. He is currently on attachment at the National Theatre Studio and his follow-up play, The Five Wives of Maurice Pinder, was produced by the National Theatre in Summer 2007. Matt is currently developing an original TV drama Perfect World with Tiger Aspect, Show People with Hartswood Films/BBC Wales, and Good People with BBC Drama.
Georgia Fitch
Georgia’s most recent play, I Like Mine With a Kiss, premiered at The Bush Theatre in March 2007. Adrenalin Heart was also produced by The Bush in 2002, where she was joint Writer in Residence in 2001, and it returned for a second run in 2004 following a run in the Tokyo Theatre Festival. She was the 2004 Writer in Residence at BBC Radio Drama where she wrote the critically acclaimed Romeo and Juliet in Southwark, produced in collaboration with Shakespeare’s Globe and the Kingsdale School, Dulwich.
Nancy Harris
Nancy received her M. Phil B from the University of Birmingham where her first full-length play Stiletto was presented in 2004. She received the Arts Council Professional Development and Training Award to Study playwriting abroad in 2003.
Moses Raine
Moses was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award 2004 for The Survival Handbook, which was subsequently given a Launch Pad workshop in 2005. His play, Shrieks of Laughter, was subsequently produced by Soho Theatre in May 2006. Moses participated in the Royal Court’s Young Writers’ Group.
Sophie Woolley
Sophie has written and performed extensively for radio and TV. Her satirical one-person play, When to Run premiered at Edinburgh Festival in 2006 and has been touring England since September 2006. Following three sell out shows at Royal Festival Hall's Purcell Room, she brings the show to Soho Theatre on 12-15 September 2007. Live performances include The Barbican; Royal Festival Hall; The Hayward Gallery; The Globe theatre and also in a variety of less traditional theatre spaces. She has written for BBC Radio 3’s The Verb; Radio 4’s Bespoken Word programme and wrote and performed a monologue for Facing Leicester Square a specially commissioned show for Radio 3. Sophie’s work has been published in a number of magazines and periodicals including Sleaze Nation and a New Writing Anthology for the British Council. Most recently, Sophie and Dipo Agboluaje wrote Sightseeing, which was presented in Flight 5065 on the London Eye and she also performed in Hope a short, BSL film and wrote and performed a character monologue on Channel 4's Art Show and also appeared in the Comedy Lab's Shoreditch Tw*t pilot.

Debbie Tucker Green has been twice short listed for the Alfred Fagon award (1999/2000), was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Award (2003) and was winner of the Oliver Award for Most Promising playwright (2004). Stonning Mary, directed by Marianne Elliot was produced by Royal Court (2005) and Soho welcomes her back with Trade, directed by Sacha Wares (RSC).

Jennifer Farmer’s play Compact Failure, directed by Sarah Esdaile, was produced by Clean Break Theatre Company (Arcola Theatre and National tour, 2005).
Shan Khan
Shan Khan’s play Prayer Room, directed by Angus Jackson, was co-produced by the Edinburgh International Festival and Birmingham Rep at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in 2005. He is currently writing Q for the ENO.
