Lisa is the new Artistic Director of Soho Theatre and Leaves of Glass by Philip Ridley is her first show with the company. As founding Artistic Director of the Red Room, Lisa developed and directed a huge body of radical new writing over 11 years. Her last production was Hoxton Story, a site-specific walkabout piece which she wrote and directed. Other recent new plays developed and directed include The Bogus Woman (Fringe First – Bush/Traverse/tour/Radio 3 Sunday play), Bites (Bush Theatre) and Animal (Soho Theatre), Hanging (CBL Radio 4 Friday play) all by Kay Adshead, curating Going Public (Tricycle Theatre), Playing Fields by Neela Dolezalova (Soho Theatre Company), Made in England by Parv Bancil, Sunspots, Know
Your Rights and People on the River all by Judy Upton, Ex, Obsession and Surfing (Critics’ Choice BAC) and a 35mm short film My Sky is Big (NFT 1 & festivals) all by Rob Young. Lisa’s long term producing collaboration with Anthony Neilson has enabled the creation of some of his finest work - The Censor, Stitching (both Time Out Live Award winners) and The Night Before Christmas. In 2001 Lisa cofounded Artists Against the War.
