Join us for the first Script Slam of 2008. Bringing you the best, most vibrant new writing from London's teenagers.
Hosted by Fraser Ayres (Little Miss Jocelyn, The Smoking Room), this Script Slam showcases the Playwriting talents of young writers (11-18) from Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership, Paddington Academy, and Churchill Gardens Youth Club who have been involved in our Soho Slam playwriting scheme.
Slim: Watch when I'm rich. I'm gonna buy all the PS3, PS4, when it comes out. Gonna get a new pad. I'm gonna blow it down Victoria. When I see you walking I'll laugh at you. I told you I was gonna be rich. (previous Soho Slam participant)
The plays are performed by professional actors and will be directed by hot new talent Annette Mees and Charlotte Bennett.
This Slam also features Street Dance by Crucial Timing and Poetry from Dernel Gabriel - all young performers from The Avenues Youth Project.
Anyone can come to this informal and entertaining showcase of brilliant new voices, so don't miss your chance to see this electrifying event.
