Vanishing Point in association with Soho Theatre Company
Mancub
31 May - 18 June 2005

'I look up. The moon is looking at us. A great white eye. I can feel the pressure in its light. Actually I feel like barking. But I don't.'

Mancub is the beautiful and absurd story of a boy who seems to be turning into animals. Paul faces the usual struggles of growing up. But he also faces a more pressing problem. Reality seems to be shifting as the people around him begin to display the traits of certain animals. But stranger still are the changes he, and other people, see in himself.

Mancub is a collaboration between Vanishing Point and acclaimed Scottish writer Douglas Maxwell, whose hits include Decky does a Bronco and Helmet. Vanishing Point will bring their distinctive theatrical approach to this strange and magical new show for adults and young people.
